We recently took a trip to Utah to visit our fabulous friends- the Labrums!! We had so much fun and lots of adventures- cooking (and burning dinner) in in dutch ovens (thanks to Tommy and Barrett!). Utah is really beautiful and the weather there was awesome!! Once we got there!! We had a very long trip getting there because of weather issues but Nora did so good on the plane. It was her first time ever to fly and she was wonderful! She did great in the airport during our many, many delays. She kept me calm in the craziness. Love that kid!!
We got Aggie Ice Cream- way yummy!!! We also did some shopping, some swimming but most importantly, we got to spend time with the Labrums!! Nora was soooooo excited to see Morgan. They are such cute little friends. They played great together the whole time. It was like they had not been apart for months!!
Chantel and I got do some shopping and I took her to lunch for a very belated birthday present. She makes me laugh all the time and I really enjoy spending time with her or just talking to her on the phone. No one understands me the way that she does- sort of scary I know!! She is one of the greatest people in the world -no matter what others might say :)
Tommy and Barrett had fun together too. Tommy encouraged (aka made) Barrett run with him in the mornings. They of course played washers all the time, wearing foot marks it the grass from playing so much. They took the kiddos swimming. Probably the wildest event of the whole trip was watching Tommy and Barrett pack up 7 packages of Turkey steaks (its a Utah food that Tommy fell in love with) in a cooler so that we could bring them back with us on the plane. Boys are so funny to watch sometimes!!
And of course- everyone took turns loving on the little man Max! He is such a little cutie it kills me!!!
Anyway- we were not ready to leave but we had to. :( We had a great trip and loved spending time with the Labrums!! Can't wait to see them again soon!!

Oh, the mountains. I'm glad you had fun. I love the picture of Nora camped out with the DVD player.
Man, I miss the mountains! Those kids are super cute friends! And, it looks like Nora did a great job on the plane!
SO cute! You are such a sweet girl! Now if I could just get my in-laws to think I was that great! (he-he) we miss you so much! I love the pictures!
Blast I did it again! When I am signed in the kid-cessories email, it makes Ashlie and I look like a couple!

My kids had to look at your blog about 5 times today... Samantha keeps wondering around the house, shrugging her shoulders saying, "Where's Tom, Where's Tom?" and James burst out in tears last night when I told him Tom finished his rotations here and wouldn't be back next week. I guess they got just a little attached to him. Shows what fun parents Dave and I are. :)
Sounds like a blast! The pictures are adorable, Nora's curls are too cute for words!
