Our Anniversary!

Today Tommy and I have been married for 7 years. I don't have a scanner to show any pictures of our wedding but I think it was one of the most beautiful and fun weddings I have ever been to! This is the most recent picture I have of the two of us. Sort of sad that we don't take pictures of the two of us anymore. I guess that is a good summation of marriage though- it is not really just about the two of us.

Today is special because it is the day that we were married- the day that we pledged to love, honor and obey each other, to be there through the good times and the bad, in sickness and in health. Let me say- in the last seven years, all of the those vows have been tested in ways I could not have imagined- medical school will do that! I am proud to say we have made it through with the past Friday being Tommy's last day. That makes the anniversary a little more special.

I was looking at wedding pictures today and watching a little of our video and I am amazed to look back and see how much we have grown and changed since that day. I am blessed to be married to my very best friend, a man who has a heart so big and who works so hard everyday to make sure that our dreams come true. Happy Anniversary Tommy- I love you- I swear!
