Marshmallow Fun with Meme!

A few weeks ago, my mom and dad, aka MeMe and PaPa, came to visit us and my mom brought along this fun little activity for her and Nora to do while I was busy for the afternoon. I thought it would be fun to share because it would be pretty simple to do with kiddos of all ages and most of it is stuff that you would have around the house.

What you need:
-Golden Oreos
-Large Marshmallows (the more round they are the better)
-White Icing (they ended up using toothpicks because it would not dry fast enough for Nora)
-Pretzel sticks
-Blue or Black decorating gel
-Red decoration gel
-Pull and Peel Licorice Strings
-Colored mini marshmallows





Using icing, stick one marshmallow to the top of an Oreo. Then stick another marshmallow on top of that one and one more on top of that one so that you have a snowman body. You can stick toothpicks through them to help hold them up while they dry as well. Once the icing is dry, use the blue of black gel to make the eyes and the red to make the the mouth of the snowman. Wrap a pulled Twizzler around the neck and tie like a scarf. Stick two pretzel sticks in the sides for the arms and add the mini colored marshmallows to the ends of the pretzels sticks for the mittens.
