Business Opportunity for me!!

Our church does an Autumn Auction and Soup Luncheon to raise money for the school. They ask for donations from the community and parish members so of course, I donated some cards. I donated 6 Fall cards and 6 Christmas cards, meaning for them to be done as two separate auctions in the silent auction but they put them together and sold them as one group. I was pretty surprised to see the number of people who bid on them and they ended up selling for $20 so I was pretty happy that it helped the school out as well as me.

To my surprise, the woman in charge of the auction asked me if I would make her some cards to sell in her store here in town!! I am so excited to do this. We have not worked out the details or anything yet but she said that she is always in need of some sympathy cards and other ones and she loved my cards. What a great compliment and again, I am helping someone out with my fun- plus hopefully making a little money on the side to help with my hobby addiction!!

Here are the cards I made. I did most all of them in one day and some I struggled with more than others but overall I liked the way they turned out. As I look at them now, I think of a little something else I could have added here or there but that is the good thing about taking pictures of them!!
