Party Time!!

Way back in August, we celebrated Nora's 3rd birthday at the St. Louis Zoo. It was was much fun to have friends and family together to celebrate. It was a pretty warm day but everyone had fun. Thanks to all who came and partied with us!
Nora loved all of her gifts and every time she gets one of them out, she says, "Mom, (fill in name of person who gave gift) gave me this at my birthday at the zoo right." EVERY TIME!!!! She does not forget a thing!!


Her cake was a lion head made of cupcakes since we were at the zoo. They were little mini cupcakes and were very yummy!
We had a large variety of ages at the party so I did treat bags for two age groups and had a lot of fun picking stuff out at Oriental Trading. This is a great site if you are on a budget but have particular theme in mind! So fun. I think all the kiddos liked the stuff they got. They all got foam animal print visors and sunglasses and were really good sports about wearing them for a picture. Such good kids!
After the party, we hung out at the zoo with the Nastavs and had a blast with them. We rode the train, the carousel, saw many animals and just had a great time. We sure miss them a lot! Nora just loves Zie a ton and everytime we look at the pictures, she says that she wants to go the zoo and see Zie there. I think she thinks that is were they live!!! Yes this is from the same day but it was so hot that I had to put Nora into something a little cooler- she was so hot!!

Anyway- Nora has a great party and we all had fun. Thanks to everyone who braved the traffic and the heat and made it such a fun day for my little one!!
